Arizona - Phoenix, Tuscon and the Sonora Desert

Summer 2014 / Spring 2015

Red Rock Fever, Spring Migration and a thirty-four year anniversary brought us back to Arizona sooner than we had anticipated.  We elected to explore Phoenix and south, through the Sonora Desert, almost as far as Mexico.

The cactus was in bloom. The birds and bees were busy beeing... well, beeing birds and bees. The vibrancy of color, in an otherwise dull, barren, prickly, uninhabitable desert, captivated us.

In the desert everything bites, stings, sticks, pricks or poisons.
