The quirky Terlingua sits on the outskirts of Big Bend National Park.  With a population of 58 people (2010 Census) I don't know if it is a town, a village or a park.

We spent a couple hours in the area visiting the graveyard, mineral and crstal shop (very cool old dude that ran the place) and had dinner. There are a couple art galleries and general store.  We bought the obligatory souvenirs (baseball cap and t-shirt).

Unfortunately we missed the nightly impromptu gathering of musicians on "the porch".
