We took a few early morning drives to watch the sunrise. One nice thing about coming in from the east is that the three hour time difference lets us get up at our time of 9 am but local time 6. |
A short drive to the east we found Quail's Creek State Park. |
Just to the northwest of St. George we discovered Snow Canyon. |

This was a beautiful deep canyon with some magnificent rock formations. With the sun rising behind us, we were able to see well into the valley for some supberb photos. |

We drove from St George, through Arizona to get tp Kanab, UT for our slot canyon tour. |
